Back to school and longing for fall...

      It's that time of year again to go buy packets of college ruled paper, bright yellow pencils, binders, books, and the endless lists of school supplies that I'm in search of throughout the end of August.  I used to have all three kids in tow to find the perfect backpack, but now one will be heading off to college, and I'm buying much bigger school supplies than ever before.  Things like comforters, rugs, trash cans and renting micro-fridges...micro-fridges?  Yes, micro-fridges!  A perfectly ingenious combination of a microwave and refrigerator to keep my 6'4" giant child loaded with snacks to his heart's content.
     In Texas, fall doesn't come for another couple of months, but I am longing for it the same way I used to look forward to my new school clothes where I would spend hours planning the perfect outfit the night before the first day of school.

Fall is for boots.  

You can never have too many pairs of boots, don't you think?
