Beach Cheeky coffee tables and breakfast nook situations...

In looking high and low for the necessary furniture for Beach Cheeky, I've blended the antique/vintage with the new.  In the kitchen we went with counter stools from Lee Industries, which we love and I went with the higher end of the price point and honestly do not regret it at all.  I can't say enough about these counter stools.  We had them slipcovered in a washable fabric, Nantucket Chambray, so it's so easy to take care of…

In the dining room we went with Restoration Hardware Reclaimed Russian Oak Trestle Dining Table paired with white Belgian slipcovered dining chairs in an outdoor fabric just in case people start getting loose with the red wine!

Couch by Lee Industries slipcovered in Glyn Metal Gray Linen and chairs in Patton Denim fabric…
Blue oars are from Ebay and will probably be moved to a bedroom above a bed at some point, boat is from my fab find at White Elephant Antiques in Dallas…remember this antiquing in Dallas day?
Antique table from another antiquing day in Mckinney, it weighs a ton, Big D and giant child pulled this in a U-haul from Dallas and about killed themselves carrying it in!
Drift wood found along the way on another antiquing excursion, super cheap…not sure I want to keep it in this spot, but surely I'll find a space!
As for the coffee table and breakfast nook table, they are causing me some serious issues, because nothing is the rights size…at all.  I should have known better to not actively evaluate the size of the nook, which BTW we love and is beautiful, but not exactly super buyer friendly when one looks for a table!
We are talking somewhere in the neighborhood of a 72"x 63" table, not exactly a standard kind of size.  So I have found someone in Dallas to do a custom situation for our breakfast nook dilemma, which will be squarish/rectangular in shape, and I've come up with a few ideas that I'm liking…

Not round obviously but I love the base of the table with the iron accents...
Love the scallop of this table, but not sure if it would translate as well in a rectangular table...
Love the color of this, weathered white mixed with a weathered gray top…really special...
Like the base here...

As for the coffee table we have a similar dilemma needing a specific size that I can not find.  We need something in the neighborhood of 60 x 36-38, and something the dogs can lay under, because we are a slave to these three furry beasts people.

Here is one that is transitional and quite beautiful…
Simple, clean and gorgeous, and available in custom sizes…not sure if it's what I want though...
Other options…

Love this whole look, but we would need to leave the long sides open, because well, the dogs rule our lives, it's a problem, we know...
 Or this...
Now what do I want?  Good question, I don't know!!

Perfectly gorgeous entries...

I've been looking high and low for pieces to put in Beach Cheeky and I'm wanting something against the wall when you walk in the door.  There is a space that would be perfect for a table, mirror or art, and lamps right through the front french doors.  It got me thinking about how different so many entryways can be whether formal or more casual.
This is so open and airy, love the lamps!

More Beach Cheeky activity!

We just spent a gorgeous and peaceful weekend at Beach Cheeky, and boy was it needed!  The sun was out the whole time thank goodness, and the weather was in the mid 60's!  I really did not want to leave!  I can't wait to get back there next time.  We finally put up the stairwell chandelier and it looks perfect in the space.

Here it is at night…
We put some Hedy sconces in the downstairs master bath…

See the paper blinds we had to put up until we get some fabric ones!  These things are great!  I never knew they existed and we spent 10 days here at Christmas without anything up at all!  Super cheap and they just peel off when you are ready for the real deal!!

On the water...

 And on the beach...
