Bathroom remodel update…it's crunch time!!

It is getting a little crazy around here! I've got one kiddo graduating this weekend from college in Savannah, one of my favorite places, and next weekend we take off for Beach Cheeky, so I'm trying to cram in all the last minute decisions for the complete gutting of the master bath which starts two weeks after that, while I'm gone! Here's where we are…

Hot mess black and white tile before picture…

And I've picked out this great looking Carrera marble from Floor and Decor which is cheap where marble is concerned! Well by the time you buy the amount we need, which is quite a lot, it's not as cheap as you think it is but most places would have this for about $18.00 a square foot. We are using 18 x 18 squares on point.

The shower is going to have the same tile in a 6 x 12 tile with a honed chevron pattern for the floor like here…the honed tile comes in a 12 x 12 size so we are having them cut it into smaller strips in order to use it for the shower floor.

For the counter tops we have this pretty Carrara Bianco Giola in a 3 cm slab…

Remember my favorite bathtub , the gorgeous Waterworks Empire Tub for a whopping $9,000?

Well obviously that's not happening…so in it's place is the economical Barclay Verron at $2,400, it's not the Empire which I'm still in love with, but I think it's pretty close considering the price difference...

For the light fixtures I'm going with the Camille Long Sconce from Visual Comfort in polished nickel…

When I get home from Beach Cheeky I'll have a brand new bathroom!
