It's 60 degrees in Dallas, let's go antiquing!

Well finally a day that was sunny and hit 60 degrees thank you very much, because I am so very done with winter people.  I thought I would head to downtown Dallas in the warehouse district for some fab finds and amazing antiques.  I love to go down there just after the new year, because a lot of stuff is on sale!  I loaded up in my gas guzzlin SUV to Industrial Blvd, which now apparently is called Riverfront Blvd, like three years ago and apparently I didn't get the memo so I was all messed up on my exits and ended up on the other side of Dallas!
This is me lost...
That's the Trinity bridge which is pretty gorgeous, and I'm taking a pic as I'm driving...don't try this at home kids!
So back to Riverfront Blvd where my first stop is at White Elephant Antiques, one of my favorite place to peruse really unique items.

The first thing that caught my eye was this great old zinc table that would look pretty perfect in Chez Cheeky...but I kept movin to see what kind of other treasures that were out there...
I love this huge silver what?  Is it a giant silver trophy cup, I don't know but I love it!
Love these old concrete mushrooms for the garden!!
Great old movie reels if you've got a media room to decorate...
And then there's this...
Anyone in the market for a creepy taxidermied wild boar grazing on fake grass?  Anyone...Anyone???

All really great stuff, but what I'm really looking for is stuff to put in Beach Cheeky which we are just about to break ground on...all very exciting people!

Surf City baby...love this vintage sign!
Some great vintage life preservers, which are expensive at $120 and $95!!  I thought that was outrageous and I'll be lookin on Ebay, thank you very much for the bargains...sad to say on Ebay they were $350!!

Some great driftwood...
Love these industrial letters!  I think Big D would be all over these for Beach Cheeky!
And then I came around the corner and about died when I saw this people!  It is a gynormous old sailboat model from an estate in Houston!!  I heart you big boat!
I loved this old maritime painting too, the colors are gorgeous...
So what made the cut for Beach Cheeky??
BAM!!  The thing is HUGE!  I told you it was gynormous!  There is absolutely NO chance of hiding this thing from Big D!  How did I get it home you ask?  My ever beloved gas guzzlin SUV!  You could fit a real boat in that thing I think!
It has the most perfect blue!  We will either put it on a table somewhere in the new house or hang it on a wall...
And...
The great old maritime painting which will either go in the boys bunk room or bath I think!

And it was all on SALE!!!!  No really, it was...
